Xander Schauffele shoots 7-under 63 | Round 1 | Travelers Championship 2020

In the opening round of the 2020 Travelers Championship, Xander Schauffele carded a 7-under 63, placing him three strokes off the lead heading into Friday.


The Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands is the first event on the revised PGA TOUR schedule that will take place in its original spot on the calendar. The longtime TOUR event will feature a stellar field that includes 4 of the top 5 golfers in the world – Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson – as well as defending champion Chez Reavie. Also challenging for top spot will be recent Travelers champions Bubba Watson, Jordan Spieth, Russell Knox, Kevin Streelman, and Marc Leishman.

  4. any wonder he had such a low round. No driving or tee shots at all. Everything from the fairway or on the green.

  5. Oh man, I really love Xander's swing at 0:55. I've been hitting my iron wrong for the last seventeen years, until I saw his swing. I now swing with more confidence, longer and more accurate. I flared left foot out a bit, swing to the left like hitting a fade – ball went straight and much further! ⛳️
