Rob Potter having a golf lesson tonight with Rick Shiels PGA Golf Coach at Trafford Golf Centre in Manchester. The main aims of todays golf lesson was to stop casting and hold more lag angle on the way down and improve the quality of strike and to create more power.

Top lesson with Rick today! All but cured a swing fault I have had since 2009 and was causing me to contemplate putting the clubs away for a few years!! Bit more hard work with the drill and I'll lose this prob totally!
Igor….for warm up work I will now always use the Extreme Hockey grip for sure.
As for full shot grip, I'm trying to develop my feel for the "Beginners" Baseball grip. Basically I was actually going to give the sport up, due to the casting. So if a simple change of grip helps, and I can develop feel in my short game, then yes, I will use that perminantly.
I see no reason not to use it.
I think I have the casting issue where the butt of the club rubs hard against the wrist/forearm its killing me!
