#snowgolf is real, but here are warmer places to dream about

Covered in snow? Worried about firewood running low or the pipes bursting? You’re not alone. Much of the country is in the grasp of the most recent snowmegaddon, and our hearts go out to those severely impacted.
But just like throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, many are looking to golf as an escape from their current snowy, miserable conditions. A brisk walk and a few photos of golf courses blanketed in snow – or even a few swings, with orange balls preferably – might be in order. Check out some of the photos making the rounds on Twitter and beyond, then take a peek at the bottom of this story for some dreamy photos of warmer days in tropical locales.

Twitter also offered up a world of cold. From Texas to the United Kingdom, it seems to be cold everywhere.
