Here’s what Phil Mickelson used as he claimed his first win for 18 months on his PGA Tour Champions debut
It’s been a rocky season for ol’ Lefty, who missed the cut in seven of his 17 PGA Tour starts. After dropping out of the FedEx Cup play-offs at the first hurdle, he promptly signed up for the Champions Tour and won on his debut. Here’s the full Phil Mickelson WITB 2020 rundown…
What’s in Mickelson’s bag for 2020?
Mickelson played around with having two drivers in his bag last year, but that all changed with the introduction of the Callaway Mavrik Sub Zero.
“I worked hard with Callaway to get a driver that meant I don’t need two different drivers and one that hits it high and far but also I can hit low and in play. And so I’ve been working on like a little pinched cut driver that takes the right side out of play.”
The 50-year-old opts for a mixed set up when it comes to his irons. He currently has four different iron models in play.
The short game master carries three Callaway Mack Daddy PM Grind 2.0 wedges including a 64 degree option.
He rounds out his bag with the Odyssey Versa Blade putter and the Callaway Chrome Soft X ball.
