New golf equipment: What’s coming in 2021?

It’s going to be a busy few months on the equipment front. Hannah Holden previews the year ahead

Hello and Happy New Year. Each time the clock ticks over midnight and into January that only means one thing in my world: loads of new golf equipment.

And not even a global pandemic has affected it this year.

So what have we got coming up in the next few weeks?

Well we’ve got an upgraded SIM range from TaylorMade – but I’m not allowed to tell you about that just yet. (Though they did put out a little teaser on social media.)

Titleist also have some exciting news coming up – but I’m not allowed to tell you about that just yet either. At least you can head to our YouTube channel and enjoy the NASA-inspired TSi range that has already been revealed while you wait.

Then we’ve got the next line in the Ping family – but I’m not allowed to tell you about that just yet either.

And there is also a new line-up from Callaway – but, you guessed it, I’m not allowed to tell you about that just yet either. (That’ll explain why new signing Jon Rahm was posing with last year’s Mavrik range in his promotional shots.)

That’s before we get to new launches from FootJoy, Srixon, Wilson and many more…

At least Cobra were kind enough to release their 2021 gear before the mad January rush. You can see the reviews of the entire Radspeed range on our YouTube channel.

So how are we going to do this? Well, traditionally through the year our equipment videos go live on YouTube each Wednesday at 8pm. We will now publish two a week, with Mondays at 8pm added to the schedule.

And, of course, with England in lockdown and golf clubs closed, I won’t be able to get out and hit the new gear on the course, but I have my Net World Sports home setup and my Foresight GC2 launch monitor ready to go – and if you’re lucky there may be more guest appearances from my family.

So make sure you hit the subscribe button on our YouTube channel so you don’t miss anything and if you have any questions – or to wish me luck – please don’t hesitate to get in touch via Twitter or Instagram.
