  1. Jesus is King. Jesus Christ died for our sins so we can have a chance to make it to the where the path of righteousness leads (heaven/eternal life). I highly suggest you repent and take the Gift! 🙏🏾💙✨

  2. You've earned a lot of respect from me today. This industry (youtube) is bigger than just making money. What you get, is it's more about respecting your audience.

  3. I’m very glad you did that because I have boycotted countless YouTube channels that did the opposite and advertised apparel and brands every video, sometimes 3-4 times or more per vid and I just couldn’t watch them anymore it felt like they were just using me and the audience as a paycheck like they really didn’t care about us.

  4. I think it might be a good business decision. Now you are free to sell your RS merchandise….hopefully you will have plenty of income off the sales to buy any Nike merchandise you desire!!

  5. Massive respect 👍🏻. Too many people sell out when they see the dollar signs. This is only going to gain you more fans

  6. they wanted to own you and now you will give them free advertising anytime you wear their stuff. i think nike won out in the deal.

  7. After watching this video Rick you are just awesome, and I hope that you will continue to deliver great content in the future, I am really looking forward to when you can get back out on the course to make more great videos 👍a big thumbs up from me

  8. Precious friends, did you know that Jesus’s name is also His mission—to seek and to save that which was lost. In the Bible, as in many cultures today, names hold special significance. Announcing the birth of God’s Son, an angel instructed Joseph to name Mary’s child “Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1 : 21). The meaning of Jesus’s name—“Jehovah saves”—confirmed His mission to save from sin.

    Jesus completely and thoroughly lived up to His name. Through His death and resurrection, He accomplished His mission of rescue. John affirmed the life-giving power of Jesus’s name, saying, “But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name” (John 20 : 31). The book of Acts invites everyone to trust Him, for, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4 : 12).

    All who call on Jesus’s matchless name in faith can experience for themselves the forgiveness and hope He provides. Have you called on His name? If the answer is no, DO IT RIGHT NOW! Acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of our Savior. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and Savior of your life. Welcome Abba Yahweh (Father God) through Yeshua (Jesus the Christ) into your life. Receive grace by believing in Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross, His death, burial and resurrection for the sins of all mankind. You will then be justified in salvation and blessed with His abundant love by the Holy Spirit!

    Thank You so much, Father, for providing salvation through Your Son, Jesus. I love You. May God bless you in the Glorious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior.❤️❤️❤️

  9. This is the most important post you will ever read.

    Every one of us has sinned against God. We’ve lied, we’ve stolen, we’ve sinned sexually, and we’ve taken His name in vain; which makes us liars, thieves, fornicators and blasphemers.. Yet this is only four of our many transgressions.

    The problem is, we can never ‘outweigh’ our sin with good deeds because God is perfect in Holiness, meaning his standard is beyond our reach. He is also perfect in Justice, meaning, he will bring EVERY sin to light. The punishment for our sin is death, and Hell; a place of Eternal Fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

    Fortunately God is also perfect in Love, so 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ left his throne in heaven and came to this earth. While here, he lived a perfectly righteous life, only to take the punishment that We deserved; Our sinless creator became Our sin, and endured a gruesome death on a cross for our sake.
    Right before he died, he said ‘it is finished’.. meaning, the debt for our sins has been paid in full. And on the third day, he defeated death and rose from the grave. So now, we can go free from the wrath of God’s judgement not by earning it, but rather, as a free gift of grace..

    Except gifts can either be accepted or rejected. So this is what you must do in response;

    Humbly admit to God that you have sinned against him, and through gratitude in the sacrifice of his son, repent (turn away) from your old way of life. Then, confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, your savior, and the ruler of your life from this moment forward (Romans 10:9).

    Do these things, and you will be saved.

    If you do so sincerely, God will grant you a new heart which no longer finds comfort in sin, but instead desires to read and obey his word. He will also grant you Eternal life in his presence; The greatest pleasure on earth doesn’t even come close to what God is preparing for believers in the afterlife.

    You’ve been informed; Now the choice is yours. What you do with this information will determine where you spend ETERNITY, meaning, this is the single most critical decision you will EVER make; And all of us here, whether believer or atheist, know deep down that every last word here is true.

    Jesus Christ awaits YOU this very moment. Don’t even think about sleeping tonight until you surrender your life to him, because your tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.. And as it is written (Hebrews 9 : 27);

    ‘It is appointed unto man ONCE to die, but after this, THE JUDGMENT’.

    All glory, honor and praise to Lord Jesus Christ.

  10. Golfers changing equipment staright away is fine. They are not influencers. These are the tools of their trade. WHy would they not use the best tools for them? Silly comment

  11. Jesus really really loves and cares about you so repent so That we all make it to heaven,

    Like so more people can see this.

  12. Next video on transparency: why it took 6 weeks to post this video.

    So, Rick likes Nike, and Nike products. On the other hand, he doesn't want to be a product promoter, aka a huckster, threatening his special relationship with his viewers.

    It absolutely follows that he wants to promote his own branded products.

    That's honesty for you.

  13. Massive respect for you Rick, love your content and have always seen you more as an advisor rather than an influencer

  14. Nike& Colin Kapernick are they proud cops are being killed now …a real hero was Tillman. ..athletic illerates& simple minded

  15. The trouble is when you call me a 'prick' on your podcast for leaving a less than 5 star review I'm not surprised that your sponsors are backing off!! Try Donay they may be looking for someone to promote their products.

  16. I hate the style of sponsorship that it sounds like Nike is going to. A few people I follow on instagram do that style with various companies and it's so in your face and tacky feeling. Kind bars are one that come to mind. Tacky, fake sounding posts that read like "I just love starting my day of with my favorite KIND BAR that gives me energy while feeling healthy." Come on man…nobody posts like that. It's such a blunt method of advertising.

  17. So when does the deep discount firesale start? I kid… Honestly, this is one of the best things I have seen in a long time. Good for you Rick! You keep being you!

  18. Nike hats off to you for making fans of you more important than doing the cringy sales adverts 🤮, that will definitely do you better in the long run, anyway I know Nike is good, I don't watch you for Nike sales, I watch you for great golf content. Keep it up 👍

  19. Rick, I know you have your marketing game down, but if you want to hear support from a 20 year brand marketer – you made the correct move for the long term. YOU are the brand of your business. As you said, people buy into what you do, what you use because they buy into you. Remove YOU and your free choice from that connection with your audience and you lose your brand value. To me it would be a downhill slide from there. So, power on, be faithful to your audience and reap the rewards. (And to be forthright, as an avid golfer Nike products to me have been cheaply made, don't last and like many sellers of apparel much of their gear is made in China).

  20. Nike only sponsor elite athletes who play at the very top not a local twix seller who gives the ball a little slap 210 downwind and can’t put for a toffee crisp.
