  1. Wait! Do it over. I had something in my eyes!
    Just to point out the obvious: These men are not revered simply upon their mastery and dominance in the game of golf, though that would be more than sufficient reason to do so. We love, yes truly love these men because of what they have accomplished off the course as well. I include Arnie in this illustrious company. They are champions of athletic achievement and of humanity. No sport has, or ever could have finer examples of standards of conduct, caring and compassion, of philanthropy and of decency. I get misty thinking of all the memories they have given us, and thinking about when we will have only those memories of them. Let us treasure each and every moment we have of them, and may we have them as Honorary Starters for years to come!

  2. One day this will be Tiger and Phil. Be interesting to see who they get in the mean time. Watson and Faldo are probably on deck right now.
