Dustin Johnson, the world’s top-ranked male golfer, has signed an extension to his endorsement contract with TaylorMade, according to the company.
Johnson, who is currently in Hawaii and scheduled to play in the Sentry Tournament of Champions, won the Travelers Championship, the Northern Trust and the Tour Championship last season before winning the Masters in November.
While the financial details of the agreement were not released, a photo of Johnson’s bag showed that he already has two products that are anticipated to be released by TaylorMade in the weeks ahead, a SIM2 driver and a SIM2 Max 3-wood.
Johnson plays a customized set of TaylorMade P-730 irons that are stamped “DJ Proto” and uses TP5x golf balls with a “1” on them.
