  1. I tried the X2 Hot 7 iron just after they came out and I was impressed. Even with slightly off centre hits, I was liking the way it flew and that was with a club not fitted to me. I am currently saving up for a set of irons to replace my X12s and these are right at the top if the list. Thanks for the review and i will be subscribing to you as i like the way you review clubs over some tf the others on youtube. Keep up the good work.

  2. I have a question on the shafts on these clubs, how much would it improve if they had the KBS Tour V shaft which is supposed to be excellent in dispersion, and mid launch. Distance is not a problem for me but accuracy and dispersion and feel is. any ideas, cheers.

  3. Which would you recommend Rick, TM speed blade, Rocket bkadez, Nike 2.0 or these, I think these look better, are they forged or cast. Cheers

  5. These are great.  But my Razr Blacks may be my loyal last Callaways.  The Callaway and TaylorMade lofts are now ridiculous.  5 iron 23 degrees!  It's nice to delude yourself with more distance but the short iron loft gaps are getting stretched.  And new irons won't fit in with existing hybrids.  Soon a "set" of irons will be 5 clubs (6 to PW), and you'll need 2 hybrids and/or 4 wedges.

  6. Just ordered these after a fitting with my golf instructor. Can't wait.  I was hitting them about 10 yds further than normal. Thanks for your review

  7. X2 stuff is really good.  My MP4 7i carries 180yds unless I mishit, then it's 170.  I'm trying to get the X2 2 deep 12.5 (big improvement from X hot 3 deep), but can't find the x-stiff.  Then my 9i carries 155-160 yds.   Callaway is making a lot of good stuff in the last 2 years.  I put the Razr 440 cc Xtreme with Ahina X in my bag and consistantly drive 290-305 yds with a few 330 yds.   Finally, I got rid of my 460 cc i15!

  8. I tried wilson d100, yellow taylor made and blue taylor made, ping serene, but x2 hot are the best for ladies too.

  9. I'm playing off 18 and was 24 at the start of the summer. I could use extra yards so would these be good for my game? In the market for new irons!

  10. I play currently off 17.2 , ive just purchased these Callaways and after the review, im looking forward to my handicap coming down. Great video, easy listening,I will subscribe.

  11. Rick I cannot stop watching this review video of the x2hot irons. Your response to the first shot is genuine. I'm leaning towards getting these irons. Thanks for the time you commit to these reviews.

  12. I have a set of X2Hot Callaway's with the speed step 85 R flex shafts. These are really easy clubs to swing , well worth the investment . The second time out I hit one of my better rounds in years . Nice stuff

  13. Hi rick great channel, looking for some new irons and at the moment am struggling between Callaway X2 hot irons and the Nike Vapour Irons… both the game improvement versions… which ones did you prefer the most!?
This wont be the deciding factor, but im still curious!
Keep up the good work with the videos 🙂

  14. playing off 18 right now with just a generic set of irons. between these and the big bertha irons which would you say provide greater forgiveness, feel and distance?

  15. Hello I ordered this complete set I'm a righty and the only option was stiff. I'm 165lb was the stiff a bad choice?

  16. Hey Rick, I am in the process of building a new swing based off the Hogan method, Was at a 5 handicap but after 2 knee replacements and other knee surgeries it was time because the old one wasn't working anymore, I got the Callaway X2 Hot 4-Gap wedge today new for 329.00.
I have been hitting them and fell in love and today made the purchase. Watching your Videos made it easy as well as I trust your judgement because there are a couple of you guys online that call it like it is and aren't in the manufacturers pockets.
    Thanks for the unbiased reviews.

  17. Glad to see this good review after I've just ordered a pre owned set of these irons. Used to play competitively but life catches up with us and I only get to play a handful of times each year. I haven't bought clubs in about 15 years and played blades with a rifle shaft being young and a strong swinger. As time passed they didn't work for me anymore. So excited to get back out there and hope this gives me a renewed passion and excuse to play more often.

Also @ricksheilsgolf I'm a new subscriber and have been loving the videos 🙌👍

  18. This review has made my mind up going to invest in these clubs this week, the only thing is I need +1" on irons and wedges? Any help would be grateful thanks.
