2020 European Tour schedule: The revised list

Keep up to date with the ever-changing European Tour schedule for the 2019-20 season

The 2020 European Tour schedule was due to begin at the Hong Kong Open and Dunhill Championship on the final weekend in November 2019 and end, as always, at the DP World Tour Championship in November 2020. But, as with the PGA, LPGA, and Ladies European Tours, the schedule has been crippled by the coronavirus outbreak.

2020 European Tour schedule: Postponements and cancellations

The following events on the 2020 European Tour schedule have been postponed or cancelled.

Hong Kong Open: Postponed due to civil unrest, played in January but not co-sanctioned by European Tour
Magical Kenya Open: Postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic
Hero Indian Open: Postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic
WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play: Cancelled due to Covid-19 pandemic
The Masters: Postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic, rescheduled for November
Maybank Championship: Postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic
Volvo China Open: Postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic
Estrella Damm Andalucia Masters: Postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic

2020 European Tour schedule: Revised schedule

The European Tour announced in May a revised schedule, including a six-week UK swing and revamped Rolex Series.

The Tour later announced the Dunhill Links will be cancelled. A statement read: “The size and complexity of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, played over three courses with 168 professionals and 168 amateurs, makes it very difficult to stage safely within the current guidelines given the uncertainties we are all facing.”
